I've done GPU benchmarks, and they appear to be normal when compared with results prior from when PC was packed up. I've tried SFC and DISM scans and they didn't find anything. I've tried about a dozen drivers ranging from 391.35 to 471.96, did clean installs of them with DDU, to no avail. In Forza Horizon 4, the same issue persists, but I've noticed that the game reports GPU usage as being near 100% all the time, but MSI Afterburner reports both GPU and CPU usage being below 10%.įorza Horizon 4 used to play at Ultra Preset 48~50 FPS. But whenever I launch the game in Direct X 12 mode, the game suffers from low FPS even in menu, like as low as 10. I know this occurs only in DX12, because the DX11 mode in F1 2020 works just fine, and I get 75+ FPS on the High preset. Specifically in F1 2020, and Forza Horizon 4. After I finally set it up and started it, Windows downloaded like half a dozen updates.Įver since that, every DX12 game is stuck below 10% GPU usage, which is causing insanely low FPS.
So I recently shifted cities, therefore my PC was not being used for almost a month, and was packed up.
